Sacred Soul Sundays : Embodying Kali (Part 2)

  • 14 East Crafton Ave 14 East Crafton Avenue Pittsburgh, PA, 15205 United States (map)

The Goddess Kali comes to us as a wild woman, fresh from battle, carrying a sword, and sticking out her tongue to convention. She is a warrior. At times she appears scary, but at others, beautiful. She is the destroyer of demons and the creator of spiritual and psychological liberation. She holds this space by illuminating the dark spaces of our consciousness, smashing our conditioned beliefs and false senses of self, and giving us the power to release all that is not true to our nature. She awakens in us the need for truth and freedom. She asks that we act with courage and sacrifice our pride for this truth.

Join us as we continue of the journey of the Goddess as this month we continue our work embodying the fire of Kali and as we face our illusions at a deeper level. We will enjoy some time in circle to share in the message and wisdom of her work, engage in a practice to deepen your journey, then travel into her world with a guided meditation and sound bath.

$30 per participant. Please bring a journal, an item to place on the altar if you choose, and a yoga mat, blanket, and/ or whatever you need to feel comfortable lying on the floor for an hour. There will be chairs and back jacks available for anyone who would prefer not to lie down.
