The Goddess Project Film Screening Party: A Red Tent Event

  • Parkway Theater/Film Lounge 644 Broadway Avenue McKees Rocks, PA, 15136 United States (map)

The Ladies of the Pittsburgh Red Tent are thrilled to invite you to a private screening of The Goddess Project - A documentary film amplifying the voices and stories of women across the United States!

In 2015 only 22% of main characters and only 19% of all directors, writers, producers, editors, and cinematographers working on the industry’s leading films were female.

Determined to empower the feminine voice, two aspiring filmmakers packed their lives into a school bus and hit the road for what became the most transformative adventure of their lives.

Through powerful conversations with over 100 women from different walks of life, The Goddess Project gives an intimate look into the collective experience that women in the United States face today.

"Our mission is simple -
Women behind and in front of the camera sharing stories that connect, inspire, and empower womankind.

It’s time for women and girls to be able to see themselves in the media that they consume."

Join us for an unforgettable evening of sisterhood, celebration and inspiration!
For the Pittsburgh debut of this fantastic film, we teamed up with local women who are making a difference in their communities and decided to throw a party! We are excited to have the beautifully remodeled Parkway Theater as our gracious host. Local female vendors will be offering their refreshments and handmade goods as we socialize in their lounge area that includes a beautiful full bar. Performances by local female artists (TBA shortly) will proceed the screening. We have room for 44 ladies in the private theater room. Please don't hesitate and miss this very special one-time-only screening experience. The ticket link is ready. Don't wait!

"Others see their possibilities in your reality."

Shine on, diamonds. 💎
